Protective is proud to work closely with your dealer to ensure that the car you buy is covered by a vehicle protection plan that meets you needs. And in the event you need to file a claim, your repair facility will deal directly with Protective. Protective Life is a publicly traded company on the NYSE under the ticket symbol "PL."
- Do I have to get my vehicle inspected? If so, how much does it cost?
- No vehicle inspection is required.
- Where can I review plan options and purchase a contract?
- Consumers can review MVP plans on the website or from in store materials and brochures that outline the service contract offerings

- A full disclosure Coverage Booklet is mailed to each MVP plan customer that details the coverage of the plan you purchased.
- How do I "file" a claim?

Consumers will present their service contract information to the repair facility and the service advisor or manager of that repair facility will contact the Administrator for authorization to begin work. No interface is required between the customer and the Administrator.

- Yes. In order to keep the service contract valid the customer must service and maintain the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer within 30 days or 1,000 miles of the recommended maintenance interval.
- What if I move and need to use my MVP plan and there is no longer a Meineke near me?
- Repairs can be performed by any licensed automotive repair facility provided they call The Claims Center before work begins for authorization and then payment will be made through Protective's corporate credit card when the repair is completed.
- If I sell my vehicle can I transfer the MVP plan?

- No.
- Can I cancel my contract? If so, how does that work?
